    A RARE High-Quality 19th Century American Order of True Ivorites Badge/Ribbon in Excellent Condition
    True Ivorites Badge, CERIDWEN Lodge No. 8
    . Gold-colored cast metal pin bar at top of badge has overall rectangular shape with decorative scrollwork border around; inside it, a white plastic-coated insert which reads "CERIDWEN". Suspended from pin bar are two gold chains which hold a rectangular white plastic bar which reads "MEMBER" in black with a black border. Suspended from this via two gold-colored metal chains is a circular cast gold-colored metal medallion with a decorative openwork cast gold border; central applied disk is of white plastic (possibly) with an image printed on it in black of True Ivorites emblem (several figures around a shield, with all-seeing eye and spread-winged eagle within radiating rays above; below, the text "URDD Y GUIR FOR AID / AMERICANIADD". Behind this, also suspended from top pin bar, is double silk ribbon, the front one of which is black and has "No. 8 / A.O.T.I. / ROME,N.Y." stamped in silver ink. At bottom of ribbon, stamped silver ink zig-zag border and gold-colored bullion fringe; ribbon trimmed on both sides with gold metallic thread border. On reverse, back ribbon is light blue
    and has "No. 8 / A.O.T.I. / ROME,N.Y." stamped in silver ink
