THESE DIPSTICKS ARE DESIGNED TO GO INTO THE ENGINE BLOCK ON THE RH SIDE AND BOLT OF THE EXHAUST HEADER BOLT. SOME LS ENGINES WILL HAVE THE HOLE ALREADY, OTHERS WILL REQUIRE THE WELSH PLUG PUSHED OUT IN THE BLOCK. THESE ARE GREAT FOR LS ENGINE SUMPS WHEN USING AN AFTERMARKET SUMP WITHOUT THE SUMP DIPSTICK PROVISION.
