    th
and final release of the Privateer Series from Elemetal!
Contains 2 Troy oz of .999 pure silver.
Obverse includes a common design used in the series; that of a pirate’s skull on a ships wheel.
Reverse bears the image of a pirate whose remains are the property of Davy Jones locker.
    Struck in ultra-high-relief proof.
For the seventh and final issue in the Privateer Series, we are taken to the scene of many a pirate’s fate on the high seas. The common idiom of Davy Jones locker reflects the state of death among drowned sailors who find themselves at the bottom of the sea. The origins of the name Davy Jones are unclear, but he is known as a sailor’s devil and may have come from a 19
    th
century dictionary with a reference to the ghost of Jonah.
Each of the 2 oz Elemetal Davy Jones Locker Ultra High Relief Silver Rounds in the Privateer Series feature a dynamic ultra-high-relief coining that brings an intense 3D visual appearance to each of the stunning designs in the collection.
On the obverse of the Elemetal Davy Jones Locker Privateer Series Silver Round is the common design element found on all rounds in the series. The pirate motto of No Prey, No Pay features along the top rocker of the round, indicating that a failure to hunt down and overtake another ship result in no pay for the pirates. The rounds weight, metal content, and purity feature below, with the central image bearing a human skull affixed to the center of a ships wheel.
The reverse of the 2 oz Elemetal Davy Jones Locker Ultra High Relief Silver Round brings to the forefront the final design in the collection. Resting on the bottom of the sea is a wrecked ship with its sails gone and mast broken. The water’s surface is at the top of the round, with sharks circling above the remains of a pirate who rests on the oceans floor next to an open treasure chest.

    Regarding
    CERTIFICATES OF AUTHENTICITY
    :
Per one of my very kind repeat buyer’s request and recommendation, I have been including a document that certifies that the antique finish on each one of my silver coins or silver rounds listed, has been applied and burnished by me personally. I will sign and date one certificate for each coin or round sold. Although this process is not “rocket science” each person has their own methods and techniques that differentiate themselves from others. Whether mine is better is totally subjective. I have shown this certificate in my last photos. (Note that these may change or improve in the future) This has been updated again as of October 9
    th
, 2020 to include the “Simply Fine Silver” logo on the upper left corner and an overall new design by Alberto Mendoza who also created the SFS logo and who specializes in 3 D designs. Thus far my buyers want this document, therefore I will continue to include it.
    Note About my “
    Custom Antique Finish System”.
This is a chemical process that darkens the silver and then I expose the higher relief areas as I see fit. This is not a layer of something applied to the silver. His is identical to the systems used by the major bullion dealers on all their coins and rounds. The method and degree of burnishing is what sets me apart from others in my opinion.
