RARE Bronze FFA 50th Anniversary Medal Coin You are bidding on a unique FFA (Future Farmers of America) 1978 50th Anniversary silver medal/coin. This hefty silver medal measures 2 1/2" in diameter with a depth of 3/8" and is a symbol of the infamous leadership organization of the FFA. On the front, in high relief it has, "Vocational Education in Agriculture - 50th Anniversary - 1928 - 1978 - Future Farmers of America - Official FFA Emblem made up of the owl, plow, rising sun, cross-section of an ear of corn and the eagle." The reverse has a beautiful high relief mural depicting the historical and leadership activities the FFA is known for. They are a head bust of George Washington; The rising sun over looking a canoer paddling down a river through the forest; The U.S. flag; The blue ribbon Beef Animal; Bucking Bronco with Western rider; Tractor working the field; Greenhouse; and in the center, a member at a podium giving a speech. This is a rare and unique item, i also have one exactly the same but not in acrylic stand if you might be interested.
