    Antique Richardson Stationer File Wood Clipboard Baltimore U.S.A.
    Found at an estate sale. This old
    Antique Cast Iron Clipboard Holder was made for the Richardson, Stationer, 112 E. Baltimore St.
    The business was a Stationery and Printer business in Baltimore MD that was started by J. Edward Richardson. It was a well known company in Baltimore.
    Examples like this put it as an early 1900's era item (about 1900 to 1909). This piece would hang on the wall or attached to a clip board to hold memos, invoices, receipts, etc.
    It is in great working order.  The two rings still swing out in opposite directions and back with no problems to hang invoices, receipts, instructions, notices, etc.
    It's made of cast iron metal with raised lettering.  The holder rods are about 3 1/2" tall and about 4” across the bottom.  A great display piece.
