Complete Long Stud Oil Pan Stud Kit for SBC W/Serrated Flange Nuts
When it comes to oil pans, studs are the way to go and using a longer 1.5" stud is definitely the way to go if you're using a performance pan gasket such as the one piece style which are thicker. Additionally, you should be using pan reinforcement rails on any steel pan that doesn't have them built in if you don't want to have leaks from pan rail distortion and/or uneven clamping force on the pan rails/gasket. Naturally, these rails add thickness and as a result you'll either not be able to get a stock length bolt to work because it's too short or, you'll be cussing and fighting those bolts to get them started.
Don't forget - studs also make gasket installation and alignment much easier and they provide more even clamping force compared to bolts. The serrated flange nuts provided don't require additional washers and the serrations will lock the nuts in place once they're torqued.
*These may not work with some aluminum oil pans.*

    SHIPPING NOTES:
*NOTE - Between the holiday season and increased online shopping, shippers (USPS, UPS, FedEx) are all experiencing delays. I have also noticed recent tracking issues and/or no or delayed tracking updates on some shipments. I still ship ASAP, however, neither I nor any other seller can control these delays.
To keep shipping costs down and provide a greater value to my customers I use USPS to ship all fasteners. To date I have had exactly one issue related to shipping loss/damage so thus far it has been a rare occurance. Should you happen to encounter an issue, I stand behind my sales from my door to yours regardless of who is at fault.
I do not delay shipment in any way or advertise anything that is not currently in stock. Once you receive the notice that a shipping label has been created, your item(s)
    are
    shipped
at the very next pick up. With that being said, please understand that on occasion, USPS does not immediately update tracking and an item that has been sent may say "Shipping Label Created" even though the package has been in transit for 24-48 hours.
