PLEASE NOTE: Several of the following statements of description are the result of a phone conversation I had with the founder of Maritime Replicas in Miami and from their website which I highly suggest you visit.  This particular example is no longer offered by the company. ALSO, this is not a "model" of wood and plastic which can be found here on eBay.  This is the most exacting replica ever!  It was ordered by an individual following his participation on it's inaugural cruise.

and built by Maritime Replicas of Miami Florida who has been commissioning these world -class, museum-quality replicas for twenty five years. Each is a custom order and built over a three-month period by twenty highly specialized craftsmen with specific responsibilities.  All models are produced from fine scale brass sheet, brass castings and turnings with hulls molded from premium quality FRP.

Acid and photo etching of the windows, doors, vents, etc. provide unsurpassed detail.  No detail regardless of its complexity, has been left out.These replicas are produced to exacting premium standards by the team that includes two knowledgeable architects, a Naval Engineer and two highly qualified designers. This is one of two identical ships that came out of a estate of a high end collector following his voyage on the inaugural voyage as seen in the photos.

The shipping might change depending on your zip code.  Note, there is some discoloration of the wood base.  The lexan protective cover which is included does have slight stress marks along the edges which may or may not be seen in the pictures.  They have no effect on appearance or protective ability.  A signature will be required as it will ship in an oversize box to prevent samage.
