UNIDENTIFIED VINTAGE LAPEL PIN - WOMF or WOFM - GILT METAL & ENAMEL - FRATERNAL?

Description

This vintage gilt lapel pin is thought to be a fraternal item, and its design consists of letters that will read either as WOMF or WOFM (uncertain due to their arrangement).  The composition is a non-magnetic metal with a gilt surface, and the letters are navy blue enamel.
There is a hinged attachment pin with a locking catch.
There is no mark for manufacturer or metal content

Each side of this triangular pin measures
approximately 11 mm (7/16")
.
This item is in very fine condition, with light signs of handling, and it remains, overall, a bright gilt color.  There is no visible damage to the enamel.  The hinged pin and locking catch work well.
