Scarce Unusual Zephyr Cigarettes Art Deco paper poster near mint 1930's.
Zephyr Cigarettes were introduced by The Axton Fisher Tobacco Company in 1937. The roll-out included pin-back buttons which read "I Smoke Zephyrs". The word zephyr means "soft gentle breeze" and so the slogan was: "A Smoke Lighter Than Ocean Breezes".
This very eye catching colorful 18" x 12 1/2" sign is in near mint unused condition.
The thin white line in the photos is from a crack in the camera lens.
