Vintage 4 foot Ship Wheel Galver: Dubbelman Stuurraderenfabriek Slikkerveer

Description

This beautiful ship's galver belonged to a local family for decades and graced the owner's business office.  Approximately 48" in diameter, the 8- spoke wheel was manufactured in Norway.  Please view the plaque and pictures.  Exact details of the wheel are unknown.  What is common knowledge, is the scarcity of salvaging these pieces!  They are truly collectible and are becoming difficult to find.  Would be a beautiful addition to any gentleman's office, nautical home, vacation home, boat house, etc.
