For sale is a VINTAGE probable MARBLE BASE, DESKTOP PEN HOLDER with a brass/gold colored metal pen stand in a convenient metal swivel style holder. All quality, made in the good OL’ days of quality materials by US craftsmen w Pride.
Sheaffer Brand, about 2 3/4” wide x 3 1/4” long and 1/2” thick Base which has the traditional green felt base to protect furniture in good used condition.
Used condition, decades old with neutral colored natural marble base, ivory colored with naturally occurring grey and white striations. Given its age, it shows typical various marks, small chips to the base and evidence of use and light corrosion to the metal components creating an expected patina to help authenticate it’s age, origin and history. Was treated well, the manufacturer paper tag “SHEAFFER” is still glued to it, and can remain on it or removed if preferred.
