Vintage Yamaha Tour Custom 22 round x 16 inch bass drum.
From the mid 1980s -- made in Japan -- the good stuff.
Serial and model numbers BD822F LY4150.
10 lugs per side.
In excellent original condition. Case kept, non smoking owner.
I believe the color is called pumpkin --  transparent gloss lacquer with woodgrain showing -- beautiful finish that looks great in natural lighting and under stage lights.
Very clean finish. No added holes in the shell. A few very light surface scuffs from use. No missing or broken parts. Shell interior and bearing edges are excellent. Original matching finish birch wood hoops, lugs, legs and leg mounts, tension rods and claws, and mounting port are excellent -- no rust or pitting. A few very minor areas of surface wear on the drum hoops -- no cracks or delamination on the hoops. Underside of the drum is very clean.
Stock Yamaha logoed and ported resonate head and Remo Powerstroke batter head with built in muffling ring. Both heads in excellent condition.
The drum is a cannon -- and delivers deep, punchy tone with resonance and excellent projection.
