Description

Very beautiful vintage 1950's "Arranbee" "Nanette" hard plastic doll. She is 18 inches high and has moveable head, arms and legs. She has a very shiny, glued-on saran wig, blue sleep eyes with full lashes, and beautiful face paint. She is wearing her original organza dress, that has a wide collar, with a red, white and blue braid trim, that is also around the skirt. Puffed sleeves with elastic at the bottom, a fitted waist and very full ruffled skirt. It snaps in the back and has a wide sash at the waist that ties in a bow. It has an attached cotton petticoat. Vintage white cotton panties, that have an elastic waist and a lacey trim around the legs, vintage black flocked slip-on shoes and I have made her a tulle petticoat to make her full skirt stand out nicely. I have also added the red satin bows to her hair. She is in very good condition, her issues are: there is a tiny lighter spot on one cheek and her walker mechanism no longer works. Her legs are well attached, but her head no longer goes from side to side when you move them and she doesn't stand up well, so I am including the doll stand in the auction. Non smoking home.
