Victorinox announced January 2013 that the Wenger brand name knives were being phased out and the Wenger Swiss Army Knife (The Genuine Swiss Army Knife) name officially retired January 2014. Several Wenger SAKs were carried over to the Victorinox brand and are now part of the Victorinox product catalog. Victorinox still produces Wenger-branded watches. All Wenger product warranties are now honored by Victorinox.
