Vintage and RARE
Swagman Pottery was set up by Antonia and Rafael Maric who came to Queensland from Croatia in the early 1970s. In the mid-1980s, they started making slipcast ceramic wares featuring Australian flora and fauna under the Swagman Pottery name, catering mainly to the tourist market. In 1993, they also began selling pewter designs under the label Oz Pewter. The Swagman Pottery business name was cancelled in 2005. Oz Pewter still has a current website.
